Summer Courses of Restoration

The 2014 international summer courses of art and restoration will take place in Rome from June to September.

Would you like to learn more about restoration for your future studies or your future job by going on a fascinating study tour in Rome?
Thanks to the experience of our “Roman masters of restoration” you will learn about restoration techniques and how to perform a restoration on artworks.

Every year, from June to September, the Institute holds restoration courses for students and art-lovers from all over the world as well as organizing a fascinating study tour in Rome from two to four weeks.
Classes will consist of a maximum of ten participants. Practical activities will be carried out in the morning and guided tours will take place in the afternoon.

All the technical tools and course material needed during the morning activities will be provided by the Institute. At the end of the course attendants will receive a certificate of participation that will be recognized both in high schools (as BAC extra credits) and in universities (as ECTS credits).

Practical and theoretical lessons as well as guided tours will be in Italian.

The admission to courses depends on the available places at the time of application.
The tuition fee will only be refunded if the chosen course is already full, or if the course itself has been cancelled.
The institute has an agreement with service agencies in order to help participants find their accommodation either in religious residential homes, boarding-houses, student apartments, bed and breakfasts or hotels.
